Impossible Penetration by Tobasco Magic

Do you remember having a finger chopper as a kid? The Impossible Finger Penetration is the grown-up version. Made from wood, it has less of the scare and more of the magic.

The blunt wooden ‘blade’ is shown to have a hole cut into the centre. The blade is slipped into the frame and a spectator is invited to insert their finger into the machine. The blade is pushed down and harmlessly passes through the finger! The frame is removed and everyone can see that the finger is in the centre of the blade. How is that possible? Ah – now that’s a very well-kept secret.

For all the drama, it’s completely safe. But there’s always that niggling fear, ‘What happens if something goes wrong?’ which makes this magical and exciting.
