Sword & Ring Mystery (crystal cleaver)

The magician shows a transparent box. He opens it and puts a ring in it (even borrowed). He places the box on a pedestal and covers everything with a tube. Then, he shows a small sword that he inserts into the side slots of the tube and pushes it down to the pedestal. Finally, he removes the tube and magically the sword has penetrated the box going right through the ring! In fact, the latter will be extracted from the box “skewered” by the sword!
